Helen Wagner

Helen Elizabeth (Augustine) Wagner, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Senior Suites of Urbandale. She was born July 1, 1923 to William and Laura (Mizer) Augustine in Lebanon, Missouri.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, whether that was playing cards when they were younger, going out to dinner, or having holiday gatherings. She also enjoyed shopping and being pampered.

Helen is survived by her children, Brenda Muetzel, Mike Renda, Curtis (Robin) Renda, and Martin (Jo) Renda; grandchildren, Doug, Sheri, Malinda, Joe, Sam, and Jack; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister, Alma Martz; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded by her parents; husband, Gifford Wagner; and brother, William Augustine.

A private memorial service was held in her honor with interment at Glendale Cemetery.
