Larry Hindal, age 68, passed away on December 24, 2016. He was born on February 20, 1948 in Boone, Iowa.

Larry worked as a truck driver for Artistic Waste Services in Des Moines. He enjoyed watching all sports and playing games on his iPad. Above all, he loved spending time with his companion, Tinker and his family.

Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his loving wife of 18 years, Shirley; children, Sally (John) Gudin, and Tammy (Rob) Channell; grandchildren, Noah, Nick, Nathan, Alix, McKenna, and Anniston; step children, Candy Jackson and Rick Danner; 7 step-grandchildren, Brandon, Braxton, Braydon, Reese, Ryan, Kyle, and Amber; 2 great-granddaughters, Katie Ann and Avynn; sister, Brenda Bougher; and nephews, LeRon Jennings and Harley Bougher.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Daisy Hindal.

Celebration of Life will be held at 5 pm, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Broadway Heights Club House, 4216 NE. 50th St., Des Moines.
