Dear Lu and Jody and Family:
I was saddened to learn of the recent passing of my good friend Joseph M Anderson. When Joe was experiencing some heart issues, I was asked to fill in for Joe as director of transportation during 1986-87. During that time I find out how difficult that job was, especially trying to fill the shoes of Joe. I really enjoyed my time at the bus garage during that year and then Joe returned and everyone was so pleased that he came back folloing his illness. Joe was well liked by all the drivers and the associates and the office staff. I especially enjoyed Joe sense of humor and his dedication to the school district. I went back to being the vice principal at Lincoln high school and then later became principal at May Goodrow middle school and finally Roosevelt high school. I have kept in touch with Joe over the years until I retired in 2001. He was a wonderful man and I know that you will miss him greatly. Joe is no longer suffering and I believe is now in heaven smiling down upon us all. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days that line and.

Papa, I will forever cherish you in my heart, and you will be with me till we meet again. Dont worry about grandma cause we will be with her every step of the way. I was not ready for you to go, but my heart knows you could not suffer any longer. May you fly high with the angels till we meet again. Love your granddaughter Christy.
