Tiffany Perry

Tiffany Marie Perry passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Union Park Baptist Church, 821 Arthur Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held Friday evening at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Tiffany was born July 3, 1987, in Fort Ord Salinas Army Base, California to Brenda Stewart (Cummins) and biological father, Christopher Perry. She grew up in Des Moines and later graduated from Centerville High school in 2005.

Tiffany was a dedicated family woman, worshiper and friend. She was very caring and compassionate, and would help anyone in need. Her hobbies included writing poetry, singing, skating and she loved theme parks.

Tiffany was diagnosed with a brain disease (Double Cortex Syndrome), but she didn’t ever let it bring her down; instead she lived happy and to the fullest extent. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her daughter, Amadika and family gatherings. She is loved and will be missed by many. Tiffany gave the gift of life to 4 people through organ donation.

Tiffany is survived by her daughter Amadika Humednur; mother, Brenda Stewart (Cummins) and step-father, Everette Stewart; sisters, Amber Perry, Ashley Saunders, and Heather Perry; uncles and aunts, Richard and Kim Cummins, Brian and Brenda Cummins, Mary and Gary Steele, Curtis and Stephany Perry, and Gary; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will be laid to rest with her brother, Michael Suckow and Grandma Ella.
