Randy Peck, 56, passed away on December 13, 2016 at his home. He was born in Denver, on February 13, 1960.
Randy enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and cooking. His true passion was his family, especially being a grandparent. He worked for over 20 years for the City of Des Moines in the Parks and Rec Department.
Randy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy; parents, Gerald and Dianne; son; Travis (Heidi); daughter, Lisa; grandsons, T.J. and Trevin; sister, Brenda (Ted) Cox.
He was preceded in death by sister, Laura Hotchkiss; brother, Gerald Peck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset memorial Gardens.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Randy. I wish we could have been closer cousins....but I will always remember his smile and the stories of when we were little together. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family.
