Clarence Robert "Bob" Horn

Clarence Robert “Bob” Horn, 71, passed away at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on December 10, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Leola; daughters, Sharon (Lance) Green, Glenda (Dennis) Cogley and Karla (Brandon) Teem; grandchildren, Toney (Michelle) Green, Christina Hradisky, Ryan (Kara) Horn, Tanner and Colten Teem; great-grandchildren, Savannah Hradisky, Annabel Vincent, Briar and Lily Horn, Gwendolyn and Brody Green; sisters, Lena Schiff, Shirley McGee, Mary Doughten and Bertha Marshall; and brothers, William and Dale Horn. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Christine Horn; siblings, Al Horn and Verda Menakes; and grandson, James Cogley.

Bob retired in 2009 as a self-employed real estate appraiser.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 6:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines and the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3663 66th St. in Urbandale, IA.
