Linda Fessler

Linda Fessler, 68, of Des Moines, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Linda was born on December 15, 1948 in Jackson, MS. to Olive (Sneeberger) and Emil Schoondyke.
Linda enjoyed crocheting, crafts, baking and especially spending time with her family. She loved to watch crime dramas like SVU and 48 Hours. She will be greatly missed.
Linda is survived by her children, Norman (Tina) and Angel; siblings, John Schoondyke and Colleen Hasbrook; many nieces and nephews, other loving family and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phil; siblings, Norman Schoondyke and Rose Cosper.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Avon Cemetery.

Hello my guardian angel. Today I am remembering you and all the wonderful times I had as a kid because of you! You was truly a amazing woman. Word cant explain how much I miss you. My heart broke when I was told you passed away Aunt Linda! Knowing your at peace with the love of your life uncle Phil is comforting!! I have so many memories of you both from the time I was itty bitty up through out adulthood. Angel Rae I'm truly sorry for your loss and thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Linda give my love to Uncle Phil, Eddie, Uncle Tom, Jayme, Gig, Jimbo, Phil, and My daddy and hope you know how very much I loved you always have and forever will. This world is a little darker without you in it. Fly high aunt Linda you deserve to rest. Love and miss you tons!! I cant remember a time growing up that u wasnt in my life from the age of 9 up its hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful loving soul so im jst gonna say i luv u always have always will til we meet again tell phil i said hi and that them bors will nether ether ring his house after midnight...... Lin is the best mother (in-law) ever. Not once did we never get along. She is beautiful, kind, caring, loving and so much more. I will miss and love her forever. Until God calls me home also. Love always , Tina Marie Fessler
