Our daughter Ellie attends the daycare where David worked and was in his afternoon class. She loved David very much. David knew of Ellie's artistic talent and drew wonderful pictures with her almost every day. We had a hard time getting her to leave the center (especially if we arrived early) because she wanted to be with him so much. He was always cheerful and caring with all of the kids and you could tell that they all had a special bond with him as soon as you came into the room.
David's passing is a tremendous loss to us and to all of the families at Kindercare. He was a terrific young man who will hold a special place in our hearts. We mourn for who he was and for his incredible potential.
