Lyle D. Danielson, 81, of Indianola, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2016, after a short battle with cancer. Lyle was born to Harriet and Carl Danielson on September 24, 1935. Lyle is survived by his wife Kriss, his sons Rick (Karen) Danielson, Mike Danielson, Jeff Danielson, granddaughter Brittney Jones and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Long. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Lyle loved to “fix” things and didn’t believe in throwing anything away until he had a chance to repair it, and he usually succeeded! He enjoyed golfing and spending time outdoors. He built amazing campfires and was aptly nicknamed “Dante, the Fire King”. He was a great salesman and won many awards with his years of employment with Sun Electric. He loved the challenge of learning new things and spent much of his time with Kriss remodeling their homes. He had a great sense of humor and a fantastic work ethic. Lyle was someone you could always count on. He was a shoulder to lean on, a provider of profound advice, a fix-it extraordinaire and simply someone you always wanted by your side. Lyle was loved by many and his absence will forever be felt in the hearts of many.
