Dale Strange

Dale Strange was born June 23, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa to Theodore and Alberta (Baker) Strange. He was a character with an ornery streak to his personality. He enjoyed going out to eat and on trips with his friends at Link Associates. Dale liked fishing and hunting and enjoyed watching wrestling on television. Two of his favorite treats were Pepsi and ice cream.

Dale passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at his home in Ankeny at the age of 64.

There will be a graveside service held at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Dale is survived by his sister, Charlene Montgomery (Michael); nieces and nephew, Theresa Reiter, David Kinnery, Lisa Bussan, and Becky Matzdorff; two great-nieces and four great-nephews; and many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Alberta Strange and his brother, James Costello.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
