I want to offer my condolences to the McElvogue family and friends. Death is so painful that even Jesus wept when Lazarus died (John 11:35). Out of deep love for his human family, our heavenly Father of tender mercies has given us comfort through the scriptures. He calls death an enemy and that it will be taken away forever__1 Corinthians 15:26 the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. Notice the promise he has given to bring our love one back to life__ Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will rise...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". Exquisite joy it will be to see our love ones again! Hold on to this promise from our Heavenly Father.

All of you are in my prayers and thoughts. Now is the time to hold each other up with your love for each other. I have read that death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal. I am Aunt Mickey and Uncle Paul's youngest daughter...sending you much love. I imagine they are ALL up in Heaven catching up on all the family news...and praise Jesus...SO happy to be together!
