Judy L. Smith

Judy L. Smith, 74, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on November 18, 2016. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Des Moines to Melvin and Thelma (Hensen) Anspach. Judy married the love of her life Daniel Smith on February 14, 1969.

Judy enjoyed going to the races and spending time with her family. The light that she brought to this world will not soon be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel; son, Danny Smith; daughter, Pamela (Randy) Durharn; grandchildren, Dino, Dustin, Jonathan and Samantha; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin (Mett) and Eddy (Betty) Anspach; sisters-in-law, Betty (Jack) McCormick and Sandra Kay Zepeda; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert; and parents.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
