Carl Wisecup, 93, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Ramsey Village.
Carl was a veteran of WWII where he was awarded three Bronze Stars for campaigns in Normandy, North France and Germany. He also received the Purple Heart award.
Carl farmed for many years in the Boone and Ogden areas. He was quite a horseman and led many parades carrying the American flag. Carl retired from the National Disease Laboratory in Ames, IA, moving to Des Moines in 1969. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Carl was a life member of the VFW.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna and son, Larry.
Per his wishes, no funeral services are planned. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
