Lori,
I have only been with YRC for about a month but your desk was right outside of our training room. You were the first person I heard on the phones, you had a voice that carried beautifully, you answered every call with as much enthusiasm as the one before. You always wore a kind smile and my heart was shattered to hear of your passing this Monday. Your desk is covered with roses and words of love from your co workers who called you family. Just yesterday I saw that you are on the wall of recognition for an email from a customer saying what an amazing woman you really are. My heart is with your family and friends who are missing you beyond words. I will always remember you and your sparkly voice. You are so very missed.

I did not get to work with Lori personally but I could always hear her laugh in the hallways. She had a great, positive attitude on life and inspired it in others. It will be a much sadder place here at YRC Freight with her gone. You have my deepest sympathies.

The Des Moines trials will never be the same without Lori. That's where I met her. She was always so kind and patient with the exhibitors, always with a smile on her face. She brightened the day. Shirlee, my thoughts are with you and family and friends.

From the day I met Lori, I could clearly tell what a bubbly, positive person she was. She was smart, funny, kind to others, and hard-working. She was one of the best at her work, both inside the office and out. Rest easy, my friend.

To Lori's family, I sat beside Lori for about 2 years or more at YRC. She was such a morale booster, and fun to sit with. We laughed so much. Heaven just got one of the best. She was a true friend. Prayers to all of you and may God help you through this very sad time.

Shirlee,
Sometimes all we know for sure about life is that it goes on. Through it all, remember that near and far, you are surrounded by the loving thoughts of many....including me. May memories walk by your side like a friend and comfort you. Wishing you a softer tomorrow.

My heart and deepest sympathies to Lori's family, as well as her friends and work colleagues. Her absence has left a void which no one will ever fill. Lori was a very special lady and I will miss her sunny upbeat attitude whenever we would speak on the phone. I hope that her "super sparkly" memory will stay close to heart to all who have loved her. Peace, love, prayers and hugs to all.
