My sincerest though much belated condolences to all of the family members and loved ones of the dearest and sweetest soul I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
I just learned of Norma's "homegoing" today (01/12) while surfing social media - specifically Facebook - and I'm left devastated. I've never loved anyone as much as I did her at one time; and my fondness and respect never diminished over time and distance.
May God bless you all with the grace you'll need from Him at every moment of every day during this season of sorrow that you're journeying through.
And rejoice in anticipation of the glorious reunion that awaits you all that will literally last forever; after this momentary separation is past. Amen.

My sympathy to the entire Norma Nelson family. I share the pain, grief the family going through right now, take heart as u celebrate her home going Norma i pray that you put your trust in God. The little time i knew her at Mosaic the love of others was her concerned. No matter where you from the smile always on her sharing about Jesus. As the Bible said to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. The Bible says all those that died in the lord will be resurrected and we who are alive will meet them in the air, so i believe we will see her again. May her soul rest in peace and perpetual shine on her.

Norma was an angel and now she's flying with the angels of the ages. Sweet, kind, generous, talented, smart, beautiful and compassionate. I am proud to call her a heart friend and her children are all so special. She was mother to more than her children. She mothered us all. She is a great loss to me as much as to the world.

You were so wonderful to be around. I remember the fun we had as kids. Always loved going to your house and you coming to ours. Though we didn't see each other often, I will always treasure our times together. You are such an inspiration to so many.

My sympathies on your loss of Norma. She was a wonderful, loving, and fun person. She was the first person to become my friend after I moved to Ankeny. We had such fun being candy stripers together in the late 70's. I remember visiting her in Denver in the 80's. It was good to catch up then since we had lost touch after high school. We didn't really connect much after that, but I did follow her on Facebook and saw all the wonderful things she was involved in. She will be missed by all that knew her.
