Tim John Oliver-Peters
Granger, Iowa
Tim John Oliver-Peters, 44, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, surrounded by his family after his courageous battle with colorectal cancer.
Tim was born June 19, 1972 in Sioux City, Iowa to Kendall and Judith (Cain) Peters. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1990.
He enjoyed living life to it’s absolute fullest each and every day. He always put family first and lived by the mantra, “Every little thing gonna be all right”. Some of his most favorite things were sharing his thoughts on life and his journey through his Facebook page, getting tattoos, Star Wars, a good cigar, cooking, eating, traveling, boating, and his Jeep. More than anything, Tim would want everyone who is reading this to do their best to have a positive outlook on life.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Amy Oliver-Peters; children, Arabella (Hunter Cramer) Oliver-Peters and Lakota (Becca Gray) Oliver-Peters; parents, Kendall (Sharon Dannen-Peters) Peters and Judith Peters; siblings, Sarah Peters and Cameron Peters.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Amber Oliver and his best friend, Eric Paul Woods.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 12th at 5:00pm at Tim and Amy’s Home. Please visit Tim’s Facebook page, “Cancer, Atheism, Life and Answers Yet to Come” for additional details.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family at www.paypal.me/timpeters72.
