Cody Wayne

Cody Wayne was born March 26, 2016 in Rice County, Minnesota. He passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Cody was just learning how to walk and his favorite food was bananas. He had a big smile and could steal your heart, but he especially had an eye for the ladies.

He is lovingly remembered by his dad, Trinity Shafer; his half-siblings, Eden and Emery Shafer; his mom, Patience Dugger; and his supporting family, Sara Shafer, Brent Shafer, Brandon Shafer and Sara Heberlee, Stephanie and Shane Hayes, and Raven Hayes.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
