Linda Brunk

Linda Brunk, 66, passed away November 3, 2016, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born in Kansas City, MO on November 21, 1949.

Linda worked as an administrative secretary for the 5th Judicial District for 31 years. She was a member of the Iowa Corrections Association and enjoyed reading, fishing, and riding their motorcycle. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jeff; son, Jess (Holli) Brunk; grandchildren, Lesley, Jadyn, and Jessica; brothers, Raymond (Donna) Rose and Roland (Kitt) Rose; as well as many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Rose, and her father- and mother-in-law, Les and Mary Brunk.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
