Rene Bonjour-Phillips, 49, died November 24, 2007 at Kavanagh House on Grand. Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
Rene was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School and worked many years at Wells Fargo Bank in Des Moines.
She is survived by her husband, John Phillips; son, Justin & wife Lindsey Powers; grandson, Mason Powers; father Russell & wife Connie Bonjour; brother, Rusty & wife Darla Bonjour; sister, Deb & husband Greg Wahman.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Kavanagh House, 1821 West Grand Avenue, West Des Moines, Ia. 50265

Renee had a smile and laugh that would light up a room. We had many great times together and she was a genuine and sweet person. Our thoughts and prayers and with her family and dear friends who are much better people for knowing her.

We all know Rene was a very special person to a lot of people. Her son and his new family, John and his family and all the other friends and family. May we all have a smile on are faces because we will see Rene's later.
