Barbara Cook, 96, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born June 14, 1920 in Tring, England. She came to the United States at the age of 27 as a war bride.

Barbara worked at a veterinarian clinic, Look Magazine and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She loved being with her family. She liked to cook, decorate, care for her animals, and shopping with Michael.

Barbara is survived by her children, Janis Fox, and Michael Cook (Shirley); her grandchildren, Zac Fox (Lindsey) and Jake Fox (Michael) as well as 4 grandchildren in England. Two great-grandchildren, Kain Fox and Olive Fox.

Cremation has occurred. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League.
