Roy G. Cronin, Jr., age 68, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016. He was born on May 22, 1948 to Pearl and Roy Cronin, Sr. Roy married Mary Mendenhall on August 25, 1968.
Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 with a visitation to start an hour prior at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Roy is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Roy G. (Christy) Cronin III and Julie (Steve) Milosevic; grandchildren, Tyler, Marco, Kevin, Jose, Maria and Erin; siblings, Judy (Ben) Bombela and Terry Cronin; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sally Cronin.
Roy will be remembered for making everyone laugh every day. He was the life of the party – even if it wasn’t his party. He will be missed.
