Alfred Free

Alfred “Dean” Free, 59, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 surrounded by his family at Mercy Hospice. Funeral services will be 10a.m. Monday, November 25 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Dean worked for 35 years at R.R. Donnelly as a press operator and most recently was employed with Stelter Co. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was a big sports fan, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and enjoyed Western movies.
Dean is survived by his wife of 39 years Connie; his children Marcy (Sally) Free, David (Laurie) Free and Ryan (Jennifer) Free; his mother Helen Free; his brother Ray Free; his sisters Terry McGinnis, Tamara Rogers and Carolyn DeVries and his two granddaughters, Brittany and Bailey
