Joseph James Meola, III

Joseph James Meola, III, went to heaven on October 5, 2016. He was the son of Joe, Jr. and Gerrii Meola and was perfectly loved while he was with us.

Psalm 139:13-14
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Joseph is survived by his mommy and daddy, Gerrii and Joe, Jr.; sisters, Eve Cecilia, Claire Elizabeth, Ella Grace and Sophia Rose; grandparents, Marcia and Joe Meola, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Stacy (Angela) Sievers, Michelle (Matt) Redinbaugh and their children, Wyatt and Kyle, Mike (Suzanne) Dennis and their children, Paige, Haile and Hunter; many cousins; and all our friends and family in New York, Uncle Bill and Uncle Dan; Aunt Angela, Aunt Donna and Aunt Danette.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Donald and LaVonne Remme, Bill and Rosemary Meola and Rosemary Thompson.

Due to the family holding private services and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, 50313, in loving memory of Joseph.
