Carl Moitzfield

Carl Moitzfield, 91, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Iowa Health Taylor Health Hospice. No services are planned, burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
Carl retired from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service and the U.S. Post Office after 20 years of service.
Carl is survived by his wife, Helen; two step sons, Darrell (Jackie) Draper of Davenport, IA and Howard (Cindy) Draper of Des Moines; two step daughters, Karla Sanders of Des Moines and Melody (John) Hathaway of Alleman, IA; brother, Ron Moitzfield of Detroit Lakes, MN; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
