Nessa Marie Holzhauser

Nessa Marie Holzhauser was born on September 22, 2016 to Anida and Michael Holzhauser. She blessed her family with 13 days of joy and love before she received her angel wings on October 5, 2016. Nessa made a big imprint on many hearts, and though she was tiny, had a smile that could light up the world.
Nessa will be forever loved and missed by her mommy and daddy, Anida and Michael; her big sister, Cordelia Desher; her grandparents, Tamela and David Holzhauser and Nic and Vickie Shearer; her great-grandma, Belinda Scavone; and her aunts and uncle, Stephanie and Roland Farnsworth, Jennifer and Andrew Kirkman, Patricia Curler, and Sara Atluru; as well as many extended family members and friends.
She is held in Heaven by Lena and Gordon Bates, Bruce Scavone, Patricia Scavone, and Evan Kirkman.
Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Family will begin greeting guests at 10:00 a.m. The family would like guest to bring a balloon or balloons to release following the funeral service. There will then be a potluck dinner. Please bring a side dish to share.

Mike and Anida, I would love to be with you on Sunday. Please know that Grandpa Ed and I will be thinking of you and all the family. We love you and will be praying for you both to have faith and courage to deal with all this.

My Dearest Baby Nessa Marie:
Born September 22nd at 5:36 p.m. - at just 24 weeks Gestational Age; weighing just 16 oz and measuring 10.5 inches long - you stole my heart right from the start. As fragile as you were, you fought with everything you had. I prayed that you would grow strong and be healthy; but God must have needed another angel. Your "BIG SISTER" Cordelia was so proud and excited for you. Your mom, dad and all of your family are heartbroken. We all love you and miss you so very much. And, although noone was prepared for you to arrive so early, there would have never been enough time to prepare for losing you. Spread those beautiful baby angel wings and fly high! Until we meet again sweet Baby Nessa. xoxoxo
