Kathleen Patience (Miles) Broyles, 65, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2016 at Mercy Hospital due to complications of MS. She was born on November 16, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. Kathy cherished time spent with her only grandson who she loved with all of her heart, as well as her family.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bob Broyles; son, Scott (Melissa) Broyles; grandson, Logan Broyles; brother, Jack Jr. (Jan) Miles; sister-in-law, Carolyn Holdefer; nephew, Jack III; and nieces, Shannon, JoAnn, and Julie. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Sarah Miles, Sr.
Per Kathy’s wishes a private family gathering was held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jenna (Nurse on 9th Critical Care floor) & all the staff at Mercy Hospital for the love and care shown to Kathy.

Kathleen I will miss you every day mama, my days are not the same without you in them. I still can't believe you are gone til we meet again sweet angel. I promise I will take really good care of Bob! We are all trying to keep him happy. Love you to heaven and back.
