Dillon Casper Diamond was born July 30, 2016, in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away on September 19, 2016. Dillon was the son of Cara Diamond and Justin Richards of Des Moines. During the short 7 weeks of his life, Dillon was a source of much joy for his family and extended family. Dillon’s smile could light up a room.

Dillon is survived by his parents, Cara Diamond and Justin Richards; sister, Delaina Diamond; step-brother, Sidney Richards; maternal grandmother, Karen Diamond; paternal grandfather, Rick Richards; paternal grandmother, Michelle Nupp; and maternal great-grandmother, Bonita Diamond. Dillon is also lovingly remembered by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends.

Holding him in heaven is his maternal great-grandfather, Donald Diamond.

There will be a private family graveside committal service at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Iowa on Monday, September 26, 2016.

Dillon’s family will remember and cherish the blessing of having him to love for seven weeks and will hold a lifetime of love in their hearts for him. We trust in the promise of a heavenly reunion.
