Patricia Fagen

Patricia Fagen, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on September 13, 2016. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 14, 1931, to Jacob and Nelle Troxel.

Patricia graduated from North High School and attended Cottage Grove Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Gregory Fagen, Timothy Fagen, Jeffery Fagen and Wesley Fagen; her daughters, Sally Fagen, Beverly Peterman and Mary Young; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland D. Fagen; her parents; and brothers, Carl Troxel, Clarence Troxel, George Troxel and Stanley Troxel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home.
