To those who mourn the passing of Laddie Coffin. Blessings to you as you prepare to honor this special gentleman. My friend Gail introduced me to Stella and Laddie in 1981 when I moved to Des Moines. A couple times I baked homemade apple pie especially for Stella. When I took it to their home I had such nice visits with them. I am so sorry I won't be able to join you in person for services. 3 years ago I had a massive stroke . I survived But I am still in therapy and not very mobile. I will always remember Laddie, the twinkle in his eyes and the way he chuckled telling funny stories. He was smart sweet charming and kind. I remember he loved his family so much. May you find comfort in happy memories in knowing you brought him joy and in knowing he is reunited with Stella who was the great love of his life. God's peace to you. Laddie's legacy will live on in you forever. Love never ends.
