Service Details
Melissa Jones, age 45, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will be held at Berwick Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Melissa is survived by her son, Christopher Jones; daughter, Gracie Ann; mother, Linda Ellsworth; step-daughter, Morgan McGuiness; brothers, Mike (Jenni) Ellsworth and Joe (Jill) Ellsworth; as well as many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Ellsworth and her husband, Todd Jones.

She has fought the hard fight and now in Heaven as Gracie has predicted. Her children are her wonderful legacy, and she was a lovely friend. Keep your eyes to the stars and you will see her every night!
