Sonny Jay Lovell, Sr.

Sonny Jay Lovell Sr., age 39, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home. Services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Sonny was born October 21, 1976 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Wayne and Ona Lovell. He is survived by his wife, Amy; children, Sonny Jr., Sean, and Josie; parents, Wayne and Ona; and brothers, Jeff and Jason Lovell, all of Des Moines.
