Debra Cardines, 56, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born on October 22, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa. Debra graduated from Hoover High School. She worked at The Last Stop Beverage Shop for almost 20 years. Debra had a passion for traveling and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She lived her life to the fullest with humor and optimism, and a great love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; children, Shane (Sara) Gee, Jenee Jones, Kailee Shere, Kami Cardines, Jacob Cardines, and Kendra Cardines; grandchildren, Jaden, Nolan, Kane, Jacob, Teighlor, Gage, Rylynn, Keighlynn, and Greighson; brother, Mike Kennedy; sister, Karen (Bob) Anderson; mother, Aileen Kennedy; and a host of beloved extended family and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, Guy “Red” Kennedy.
Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 10 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Avon Lake Club House, 5701 SE 66th Place in Avon Lake, Iowa.

My heart goes out to her children, grandchildren, husband and the rest of her family. She was truly a genuine lady. Although I have not seen her for many years, I often thought about her, she was the first kind neighbor I ever had. Always such an upbeat person!

My heart goes out to all of Debbie's family. She will truly be missed as she was loved by all. We are all better people just for having her in our life. Her laugh was so contagious and her love for her family legendary. May you rest in peace my friend until we meet again. I love you! XOXOXOXO!
