Doria Danowski, 64, was born October 30, 1951, in Sharon, Connecticut to John and Doris Durst. She passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
There will be a celebration of life from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Doria is survived by her daughter, Jessica Danowski (Michael Prather); her mother, Doris Durst; her siblings, Jay (Joann) Durst, Wayne (Dottie) Durst, John Allen (Chris) Durst, Kate (Steven) Hunt, and Jeffery (Jen) Durst; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing cross-stich and crocheting. She also enjoyed watching classic movies.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Durst and her nephew, Ethan Durst.

Doria was a very kind, intelligent and interesting person. She was a good friend to many. More than anything, she loved her daughter Jessica and was very proud of her. She will be terribly missed. RIP my friend.
