Richard W. Eggers, 72, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. Per his request, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Richard was born June 16, 1944 in Des Moines to Neal R. and Ruby Eggers. He graduated from Carlisle High School and enlisted in the United States Army. Upon his return to Des Moines, Richard received his bachelor’s degree from Drake University.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Charlene; sons, Neal R. (Stephanie) Eggers and Jack Eggers; and a host of extended family and friends.
