Robert Birr

Robert C. “Bob” Birr, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Bob was born in East Saint Louis, IL. He was a safety educator with AAA.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Dana) Wipperman; son, Alan (Becky) Birr; son-in-law, Dan Reiter; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Lopez; and brothers, Thomas (Joan) and James (Shirley) Birr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha and daughter, Linda Reiter.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Mitchellville Cemetery.
