I received an email from Robert and Marge Mount last night letting me know that Fred had passed away and I was both sad and shocked to hear this. My Grandma Margaret Haman (Mount) was Fred's half sister and I remember fondly going to the Mount Family reunions every summer as a child with her. Fred was also very close to my Uncle John Haman Jr. (who died back in 2011) and sadly the last time that I got to see Fred in person was at my Uncle's funeral back in 2011. Fred was also so very kind to me and when I had my oldest son Hunter (he is 16), Fred got Hunter a book on potty training that Hunter still has and cherishes very much because of the fact it came from Fred. Hunter was hoping to be able to come out to Des Moines at some point in the near future to meet Fred in person again, because Hunter was only a baby when he met him in person and so of course wanted to actually be able to talk to him. I know Fred did struggle with quite a few different issues in his life, and so I am thankful that he no longer has those struggles, but still am sad because I too would have like to of gotten to talk to him in person again.

Throughout Fritz's life, he was very passionate and caring about his family. He would always ask about our daughters and their families and where each one was and what they were doing. That meant a great deal to us. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace Uncle Fritz.

Fritz was a dear friend to our Mother Adeline Clarke. Fritz and Adeline worked together many years and supported each other through many of life's struggles. Fritz visited our Mom in her last month's with us and that friendship they shared was very evident. To the entire Mount family may you be blessed at this time and continue to touch those lives around you as you touched our Mom. She thought the world of you.
