Service Details
Doretta French, formerly of Fredericksburg, Virginia, was born March 29, 1921, the daughter of MacArthur and Lorraine (Eldred) Daffan. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Doretta is survived by her sons, Bobby French and Joe (Deb) French; grandchildren, Kathy French, Lori Nardossi, Gary Walker and Claud Staples; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Minor Willard and her daughter, Carole Staples.
Cremation has occurred and memorial services will be held at a later date in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Doretta.

Doretta was a very dedicated lady! She served the Lord and loved so many people and brought beautiful music with her organ playing for many years at our little country church.

We are so sorry to read of Doretta's passing, she was a great lady and an accomplished organist at Grove Baptist Church. She was always there and available for special events. Our family appreciated her jewelry repair skills. She will be missed.

Everyone in our family had come to embrace Dorretta as Grandma. We will miss her.
