Maxine Bougher, 75, passed away on August 10th, 2016, at the Carlisle Center for Wellness and Rehab. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 11th, 1941, to Margaret and James Easley.
Maxine attended All Saints school, and enjoyed camping and fishing. She especially loved her grandchildren, and always had a baby on her lap.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Don; her children, Cindy (Dan) Hollar, Donna (Jeff Lewis) Bougher, and Ron (Deb) Bougher; her brother, David Easley; sister Mary Bowman; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Don Jr.; a grandchild, Justin Bougher; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 16th, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Lowman Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday evening August 15th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the same location.

I remember a fun loving woman who always had a smile on her face. Her love for her family was always apparent. I know the past few years had been very tough on you and your family but the love was never lost. Please know that you will be missed very dearly dear Maxine! I am glad that I was blessed to have known you. You will be dearly missed however you are now in a place where there is no longer any pain and your beautiful smile will beam down on all that remain behind.
