Kenneth Watson

Kenneth Watson, 61, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born July 25, 1946. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Gladys Watson; father, John T. Watson; four children, Malissa (Kevin) Broughton, John Watson, Christie (Chris) Hayes and Jamie Philipsen; nine grandchildren, Adam (Emily), Alex, Kendra, Taylor, Aron, Hunter, Morgan and Chloee; one great grandson, Charles; two brothers, Timothy and Thomas of Des Moines; five sisters, Carolyn O’Donnell and Charlotte Torrey of Des Moines, Josephine Watson of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cindy Gyles of Winterset, IA adn Doris Bardwell of Mercer, MO; 18 nieces & nephews; 35 great nieces and nephews; and one great great niece. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Francie and his mother, Doris.
