a few years ago, I had the privilege of working for Marsha & Jim as thier electrician. As I was moving all about, Marsha stopped me, and we started talking about our faith journeys.
She said years ago she encountered a Cursillo Retreat and that really touched her Spirituality. She said that as a gift of the retreat she received a prayer booklet, small in size, and easy to connect with in her daily prayer life.
As we were wrapping up our conversation, she said,"I want you to have that prayer book, the only problem is I need to find where I put it"! Some time later, St Anthony came to her aide, Marsha got it to me, and now guess who is praying to St Anthony!??
Your Spirit Marsha will live through many, thank you for blessing me through the lense of your faith.
Your electrician, dd

Dear Jim and Kids, We know
Marcia's pains and tired body, are now in a place of Glory!! She has fought a great fight and is due her just rewards!?
We had the privilege of watching all the kids grow up. I remember way back when Pat was our paper boy, an experience I'm sure he'd like to forget. And all your beautiful gals always looked so nice with Marsha primping them before they left the house. Jim your dedication to your beloved wife is something to be admired and is a lesson for all of us. I know it's always a difficult time when you lose someone so dear to you but we know that marsha is probably there entertaining them. Terry and I wish you God's richest blessings and peace with your grief. Jim please let us know if there is the slightest help you need.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and family. As a busy mom with large family and a working gal, we never got to visit with her that much but it was always an enjoyable visit when we did. Sympathy from former neighbors on First St.

My dear Hurley Family:
Jerry and I were blessed the day you and Marcia moved into the townhome next door to us, Jim.
Marcia was an exceptional wife, mother and FRIEND!
Many were the times we waved to each other from our kitchen windows. We shared goodies and recipes.. We listened and shared each others concerns.. There was a time we prayed the rosary and litanies together in the afternoon for our special intentions.. Marcia's soft and loving temperament, and her beautiful smile always lifted my spirits.
I was saddened when my own afflictions prevented me from remaining close to Marcia as she progressed with Parkinson's. However, she will always hold a special corner in my heart as my beautiful "Irish Colleen".
May God grant you peace and comfort in knowing people care about your great loos. May you always be aware of Marcia's spirit with you as she rests in God's hands..

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was a very special Lady and the best co-worker I had the great fortune to work with. She taught me a lot and even still patients ask "Do you Remember Marcia? She used to take my Xrays."
