Jouseppe was born January 11, 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa to Carlos and Griselda Castillo. He had just finished Kindergarten at Phillips Traditional Elementary School and was excited about entering 1st Grade. His favorite thing to do was to play with his Legos. He was taken from this life much too soon on July 25, 2016.

Jouseppe is lovingly remembered by his parents, Carlos and Griselda; his brother, Jan Luka Castillo; his grandmother, Noemi Torres; his grandfather, Fortino Mora; his aunt and uncle, Mariana and Joel Calderon; and his cousins, Wanky and Wally Calderon.

I was one of the first responders to the accident where your son lost his life. I am a retired Lutheran Bishop. I want you to know that I gave your son a blessing of last rites and committed his soul to the angels of God. I remember holding you, Griselda, as Jouseppe's mother and assuring you that your son, despite his condition, was in the hands of God. Today, Jouseppe is surely in the hands of God and will remain there until the day of resurrection where we will all be reunited again in the blessed presence of Christ who is the resurrection and the life. My deepest sympathy to you and Carolos and family. Requiscat in Pace, (Rest in peace +), Jouseppe.

I dont know your family but I must let you know my heart goes out to you and, you are in my prayer's. I pray the lord wraps his loving arm's around all of you and comforts you.GOD BLESS.
