I first was introduced to James Keith Lupo when we attended Woodlawn elementary school way back in the 3rd grade. Even back then James was into action figures & drawings, art. I remember being invited to his house where he proudly showed me his collection of Star Wars figures.
I didn't see James again until 2009 when I was able to find him via the internet. We reconnected after over thirty years apart & enjoyed hanging out & catching up about class & schoolmates in Boone, IA.
I miss my friend because he was kind, outgoing, & had a wonderful human spirit. He enjoyed the simple things in life. His favorites were Casey's Taco Pizza & Tasty Tacos. My last memory of him was just hanging out & watching the Super Bowl & the commercials this year while enjoying a Casey's Taco Pizza.
To his parents, brother Brian & his family of friends I am deeply sorry for your loss. The world is emptier now, but God has called home one of his angels to create new beauty in paradise.
James Keith Lupo until we meet again in Heaven. Goodbye my friend & R.I.P.
Sincerely,
Benjamin R. Schempp

I am so sorry to hear Keith has passed. A fine man and artist. Being another kid from Valdez, I remember walking to school with him and stopping to say hello when I cut through your yard to Valdez Court. I am praying for all of you in such a difficult time.
Sincerely,
Brenda Michelson Burgett
