We are thinking of Kirsten, Tyler, Keith and Sue during this very difficult time. Sandi touched the lives of many and she touched ours as well for over 35 years. Sandi was a loving, dedicated mother and loved Tyler and Kirsten beyond measure.

Duane, I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always cherish the time we all went to dinner. I know how much you loved and cared for her. Losing a big part of your life and heart is nonsensical at our age and while building a future with each other. I pray for peace and comfort to you as you grieve and everyone can support each other during this mutual loss and heartache. Chrystal

I had the privilege of teaching with Sandi at Baxter School many years ago. I always enjoyed walking upstairs to her room after school and talking about "mom things." I was blessed to know her and pray for those that will miss her dearly every day. The world was a much better place because of Sandi. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sandi was such an amazing mentor and friend to me while I was at Baxter Schools. She inspired me to be a better teacher and helped me whenever I needed it. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Sandi, and being part of her life- if only for a few years. She taught me to love CJ's bagels (sausage with berry bagel) and how to individualize any gift, stocking stuffer or Easter basket because she was always doing that sort of thing for others. She gave me a card when my uncle passed that I keep because of the kind words and the thoughtfulness during a hard time in my life. Thoughts and prayers to Duane, Tyler & Kirsten- and all extended family and friends. Your mom knew how to make the best of life, and was always thinking of others first (family, students and friends). She was truly an inspiring and kind-hearted person, and I hope she knew what an impact she made in my life and so many others ??

I am very sorry to hear this news. Although I did not know Sandi for as long as some, I have known her as a very kind person who cared about those around her, both her students and her colleagues. I will miss her at school, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Sandi has always been full of kindness and her laughter was intoxicating. We will miss Sandi as our lives have been paralleled by two brothers since birth. Her absence will be felt as strongly as her presence.
