Wanda L. Baedaro, age 89, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Granger Nursing and Rehab following complications from Alzheimer’s and dementia. She was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and will always be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by her children, Jimmie, Steve, Marty, Linda, and Frankie, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her husband, Jimmie Baedaro.
There will be a visitation held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines. Burial will follow at East Linn Cemetery in Redfield, Iowa.

Can still see my mother, Darlene, and her good friend and neighbor, Wanda drinking a cup of coffee while sitting at our pink kitchen table.. I was intrigued by the horseshoe shaped ring Mrs. Baedaro wore. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
