Robert Patton

Robert Patton, 70, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Carlisle Care Center. After a gathering of his family, his body was cremated.

Robert was born April 4, 1946 to John and Jennie Patton in Sardis, Mississippi. He moved to Des Moines in 1968. Robert worked for the Des Moines Club for 35 years as a busboy. He enjoyed watching WWE.

Robert is survived by his siblings, Eva Grayson, Henry Patton, James (Wilma) Patton, Tommy Patton, Ruthie (Kevin) Moore, Beulah Patton, Dorothy (Kenny) Hayes, Glen Luster, Betty Brown, Jerry Patton and Terry Patton; brother-in-law, Richard Duncan; the extended Cornell family; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny Patton, Jr. and Mack Patton; and significant other, Hazel Cornell.
