I worked with Lou from 1980 to 1990, at Bankers Life/Principal, in the Graphic Services department. I called her Lucretia B. She was two years older than my own Mother, but she was always up to speed with the current times. That must have been from having five children to keep her young. She played a motherly role at work, as well as at home. I can recall many times when coworkers would confide in her or come to her for advice.I remember she would always say that she had broad shoulders and issues would just roll right off her back. I also remember her favorite way to cope with stressful situations was to let out the longest, deepest sigh, I have ever heard in my life. I can still remember it and I laugh when I think of it.Thank you Lucretia B. for all of the fun and the memories. Your life was well lived. I know you are at peace with our Heavenly Father and we will see you later. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/guestbooks/desmoinesregister/lucretia-whitmore-lou-condolences/180559414?cid=full#sthash.JGiknKvx.dpuf
