Ann C. Myers

Ann Cureton Myers, 78, was born February 27, 1938 in Columbia, South Carolina, the daughter of Ollie and Gladys (Cureton) Myers. She went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 23, 2016, passing peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side.

Ann attended Iowa State University and became a Cyto Technologist, employed by Mercy Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed being outside, especially gardening. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family.

Ann is survived by her loving son, Anthony Love of Des Moines; a host of nieces, one nephew, one great-niece and one great-nephew; her sister, Alice M. Tiggett (Curtis) of Oakwood Village, Ohio; other loving relatives and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gene Turner and Vivian Cunningham.

Cremation has occurred and no services are planned at this time.
