Carolyn Sue Buckley, 74, was born January 14, 1942 and passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at Altoona Nursing and Rehab after a valiant battle with a brain tumor.

Sue enjoyed collecting Coca Cola products and owned huge teddy bear collection. She loved music, especially country music, and was a very loving person. Sue loved the people surrounding her always and above all else she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her son, Danny (Julie) Long; her daughter, Cheryl (Paul) Austin and their son, Chris (Jessica) Austin and their children, Aiden, Cael, Beckham and Charlotte; her daughter, Terri Appell, and her children, David (Tara) Gerhards, and their children Dakota and Brooklyn; Brian (Colleen) Gerhards their children Genevieve and Penelope; Jon (Haylee) Gerhards, Sarah Appell and Sam Appell; her siblings, Kathy, Jeff, Johnny, Virginia and Linda; many nieces and nephews, and other loving relatives and many special friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Bill Daniels; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Daniels and her granddaughter, Ashley Gerhards.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Middle River Friends Church, 4057 S23 Highway in Carlisle.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Sue.
