Janice Webb

Janice Lou Webb passed away at Methodist Hospital on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 following a lengthy illness. Janice was born on March 14, 1949 in Jefferson, Iowa to Floyd and Erma Stevens.
Janice worked for many years as a customer service representative for QSP Fundraising at Look Magazine and Meredith Publishing. She retired from Sara Lee Bakery after many years of dedicated service.
Janice enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling out, reading and watching mysteries. She loved collecting and repairing vintage jewelry, various pottery and vintage glassware. Janice especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and celebrating holidays.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Family will greet visitors on the day of the service starting at noon until service time. She will be laid to rest following the service at Avon Cemetery.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Morgan Webb, Jr.; children, Tonya and Stacey Webb, Morgan Webb III and Benjamin Webb; eight grandchildren, Cheyenne Matthess, Dakota Matthess, Isabelle Constable, Jaquelyn Constable, Private Baron Canty, Hunter Canty, Chase Blakeslee and Devin Canty; siblings, Don (Mary) Stevens and Paul Stevens; many other loving family and special friends.
She was preceded in death by parents; her son, Floyd Russell; daughter, Crystal Webb; brothers, Ennice and John Stevens; and sisters, Joan Ott and Patricia Belew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Janice’s family.

You will be missed dearly. You were a very important part of my life. You may have been my mother in law but you was so much more. I wish we could have spent more time together these last few years. I will miss you and i will always remember the love you showed me as your son in law. You treated me as a real part of the family. I love you and you will be sorely missed but I will not forget you.
