Patricia Cashatt

Patricia Kay Cashatt, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Fleur Heights Care Center.

Patricia was born December 27, 1942 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Robert and Wilma McKim. She had lived in the Des Moines area since 1974. Patricia worked for a Des Moines General Hospital for 25 years. She was an avid crafter and there wasn't a craft she hadn't tried. Patricia was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Patricia is survived by her children, Robin (Forrest) Parsons and Michael Cashatt; siblings, Ronald (Lydia) McKim, Robert (Joyce) McKim, Mary (Dave) Hayes and Jayne (John) Centeno; sister-in-law, Deb McKim; grandchildren, Forrest Jr. (Rachelle) Parsons, Zachary Parsons, Cameron Cashatt and Conner Bibxy; great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Brody Parsons; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy Cashatt; grandson, Brandon Parson; and her brother, Roy McKim.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at University Park Cemetery in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
